This artistic mixture of genres is quintessentially Spanish, joining together the culture of dance, music and traditions known from the Andalusia region. This magical journey directed by Carlos Saura through the world of flamenco makes great use of Spanish paintings, which provide the setting. The dance depicted in the film is performed by known and admired artists of the younger generation.
